Poetry

Nothing Left Undone

When your feet are tired
From trekking the path
And your weary eyes
Can no longer see the light
Sit still, for in the drab and gray landscape
Nothing is left undone.

When your ears have drowned
In the noise of the world outside,
Remember little birds, bees,
And the wildest of beasts
They too sleep at night, so
Sit still, for in the doing of nothing,
There is nothing left undone.
